This is my first try and posting a picture.

So last night as I showered I all of the sudden realized that while washing my face, soap got into my eye because I couldn't close it all the way. Then I realized the entire left side of my face was unusable. I freaked out, thought I was dying, and called the doctor. He made matters worse by saying I need to go to the ER right away, as it could have been a stroke...

Here is what I was diagnosed with after a five hour wait at the hospital and a horribly terrifying MRI:

Bell's palsy describes an unexplained weakness or paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face. Afflicted individuals may be unable to close the eye on the affected side of the face, and may also experience tearing, drooling, and hypersensitive hearing. The onset can be quite sudden, sometimes occurring overnight. Although Bell's palsy is unsettling and inconvenient, it is typically not indicative of a serious health problem. The weakness and paralysis resolve completely in the majority of cases.

So I now can only half-smile, I can't taste anything on the left side of my tongue, and I have to blink my own eye otherwise it stings and waters. Basically I look like a stroke victim and it's probably the most irritating thing I've experienced in years.

Pregnancy sure is great.

If you notice, you all have categories of blogs under your names for you to post in. When you are posting, you can select which categories at the right of where you type the post. If you want to add, delete, or change a category - click on the categories tab and you edit your categories. As of now, everyone has my default of Announcements, Pictures, and Stuff.

I need email addresses for Scott and Megan. If you give me those, I can set up emails for you ('scott@boultons.net' and 'megan@boultons.net') and have them forward to your normal accounts. Email me those addresses at 'curtice@boultons.net'. Until then. Scotts will go to Emily's yahoo email and Megans will go to Chads yahoo.

It is very easy to post pictures that are on your boultons.net photo gallery. Just go to the gallery, find the picture you want, right click on the picture and pick properties. You will see a web address titled URL or Location. Copy that address.
Then come to write a post (in the admin area), make sure you are on expert. When you typing your post and want to put in the picture, click the little box that says "img" above all the smileys and paste in the location of the picture. Thats it.
