Every week I get to golf on a beautiful golf course here in Washington. Dad and Jeremy have both been able to play it as well. Even after being up here two years, I still get amazed by how green it is.

Unfortunately, this golf course likes to eat golf balls and I have lost over 50 so far this summer. I could get mad, but as I look down the fairway towards the green, Mt. Rainier towering above the horizon, I enjoy the peace and quiet out on the fairways and think life is pretty good.

As a golf buddy said last night, "How many people in the world get to golf within view of a volcano?"

If you want to change the way your blog looks, go to the admin area (same place where you post - there is a link that says "admin" on the right side of the blog) and click on Blog Settings. Then click on the "Skin" tab and you can see a bunch of different kinds of skins. Click "select" on the one you like. (don't use the midnight skin - I have edited that for my blog so it will display a picture of my family.) There is another skin called midnight 2 if you like that one. I can help you edit the skins if you want to put a picture in there (at the very top), etc.

the new and improved boultons.net is up and running. Each family has a blog where you can add announcements, pictures, news, etc. I have set up user names for everybody so you can update your blogs. Let me know when you want to log in and I will give your your password. Then I will explain to everyone how this works.

I have already created a link to everybody's picture galleries. The post show up here on the home page, on each family's blog. You can also browse to the "pictures" category for each person and get a link there also.

This main homepage will always be updated with everyones most recent blog entries. So we have a one stop source for all Boulton info.

You can post videos to the blog now. You have to upload it to youtube or google videos. Once you have done that, you can link to that video and it will play directly in the post (see the awesome Howard Dean example below). To post the video, when you are writing a post, there will be a little tab that says "YouTube". click on that and you can go find your video and post it.
