I think this one will remain a permanent one though I will no longer update the other ones (not that I have been anyway), except the fuzzyshot photo blog - i will still add pictures to that. I will be better with this though. The link to the new site is: New pictures

Obviously, I am a poor blogger and do not update this as much as I should. MaryKai however set one up for her friends and family to see that she is fully in charge of. Perhaps she will be better than me. I will try to make a better effort here as well.

Blog got reset

In case you didn't notice, all blogs on Boultons.net get reset back to October or something. The service provider migrated data to a new server and in the process, lost some of our stuff. So sorry about that.

Nates zoo trip

Nate and mommy got a take a trip to the zoo. A good time was had by all. A big hairy animal tried to mark Nate as part of his territory. Luckily, there was a window between the beast and Nate. Nate just told me he saw polar bears and they were talking... There are some pictures posted at our picture page.

New Computer

I finally got my new iMac. It is much bigger than my older computer. It makes my old computer look tiny. Now I can have some fun.

Golfing

Every week I get to golf on a beautiful golf course here in Washington. Dad and Jeremy have both been able to play it as well. Even after being up here two years, I still get amazed by how green it is.

Unfortunately, this golf course likes to eat golf balls and I have lost over 50 so far this summer. I could get mad, but as I look down the fairway towards the green, Mt. Rainier towering above the horizon, I enjoy the peace and quiet out on the fairways and think life is pretty good.

As a golf buddy said last night, "How many people in the world get to golf within view of a volcano?"

To change your skin (look of your blog)

If you want to change the way your blog looks, go to the admin area (same place where you post - there is a link that says "admin" on the right side of the blog) and click on Blog Settings. Then click on the "Skin" tab and you can see a bunch of different kinds of skins. Click "select" on the one you like. (don't use the midnight skin - I have edited that for my blog so it will display a picture of my family.) There is another skin called midnight 2 if you like that one. I can help you edit the skins if you want to put a picture in there (at the very top), etc.

WELCOME!!

the new and improved boultons.net is up and running. Each family has a blog where you can add announcements, pictures, news, etc. I have set up user names for everybody so you can update your blogs. Let me know when you want to log in and I will give your your password. Then I will explain to everyone how this works.

I have already created a link to everybody's picture galleries. The post show up here on the home page, on each family's blog. You can also browse to the "pictures" category for each person and get a link there also.

This main homepage will always be updated with everyones most recent blog entries. So we have a one stop source for all Boulton info.

Video posting

You can post videos to the blog now. You have to upload it to youtube or google videos. Once you have done that, you can link to that video and it will play directly in the post (see the awesome Howard Dean example below). To post the video, when you are writing a post, there will be a little tab that says "YouTube". click on that and you can go find your video and post it.
